Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Agdz – Zagora – M'Hamid

Depart from Marrakech towards M'Hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, via a stunning route crossing the High Atlas mountains. We pass the famous Tizi-N-Tichka pass, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. After a free lunch, we continue our journey across the Tizi-n-Tifntit pass to reach Agdz, located in the heart of the Draa Valley, a region renowned for its rich desert landscapes. We then proceed along the desert track, passing through fortified villages, lush palm groves, and arriving at the Zagora oasis. We'll stop in Tamgroute to visit the famous Quranic library and the pottery workshop, a significant cultural and historical site. Finally, we continue towards M'Hamid, where we will welcome you to Riad Amnir for an overnight stay under the stars of the desert.

Day 2: M'Hamid – Erg Chegaga

After a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we depart to visit the ancient kasbah of M'Hamid and the M'Hamid oasis, a peaceful and serene place. We'll then enjoy a traditional lunch with the locals or in the desert itself. In the afternoon, we head out in a 4x4 vehicle across the sandy tracks towards the vast dunes of Chegaga, one of the largest ergs in the Moroccan desert. You'll have the opportunity to witness a magical sunset over the golden dunes. In the evening, we set up our bivouac at the foot of the towering dune, where you can enjoy dinner and spend the night under the desert sky.

Day 3: The Dunes of Chegaga

Enjoy a free day at Erg Chegaga to fully experience the beauty of the sand dunes. You can take a camel ride across the erg and visit the Sacred Oasis, a spiritually significant and tranquil site. For those seeking adventure, try sandboarding down the high dunes. Spend the day exploring the breathtaking desert landscapes and immerse yourself in the local nomadic culture. Overnight stay at the bivouac in the desert, where you'll enjoy a traditional dinner around the fire.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Iriqui Lake – Desert Colorado – Taznakht – Marrakech

After breakfast at the bivouac, we set off in a 4x4 vehicle towards Marrakech. We cross the Iriqui Lake, a dried-up lake that forms part of the stunning desert landscape. Our journey continues through the Desert Colorado, a remarkable site featuring canyons and unique rock formations. On our way, we stop at Taznakht, the carpet capital of Morocco, where you'll have the chance to visit a carpet cooperative and learn about the different traditional carpets of the region. After a typical lunch, we continue our journey back to Marrakech, where we arrive in the late afternoon, with unforgettable memories of our adventure through the Sahara Desert.
